Health Services

Samaritan Health Clinic of Pickens County provides free medical care to:

  •  Residents of Pickens County, SC

  • Who are not eligible for Medicaid, Medicare or Private Health Insurance

  • Who have limited income

  • Every Clinic patient must be interviewed by a Clinic Volunteer to determine eligibility.  Hours of Interviews: Mon., Wed., Thur. - 9:00 -12:00

  • The following must be provided at time of Interview to receive services.

    • Social Security Card

    • Picture ID

    • Proof of Residency (ex: utility bill)

    • Household Income

Services provided include:

  • Free Medical Exams

  • Prescription Medications - we do not stock controlled substances

  • Diagnostic Testing

  • Referrals to Specialists

  • Neurology Clinic

  • GYN Clinic

  • Referrals to Dentists
     

The Pharmacy provides life-sustaining medications.  We do not stock any controlled substances. 

A GYN Clinic is held Thursday mornings each week.  Women receive free pap smears, breast exams and mammograms. The clinic is supported by the Susan B. Komen Foundation.
